External Cell Holder
The external cell holder is useful when the spectrophotometer does not have an internal cell holder or when measurements with cells are to be made at some distance from the spectrophotometer (e.g. in a fume hood). The Hellma external cell holder is connected to the instrument using fibre-optic cables which must be equipped with collimation lenses at the cell holder end as in fibre-optic cables 041.002 or 041.102.
The external cell holder can be used with both UV and NIR fibre optics. It can accommodate cells with light paths from 1 mm to 20 mm.
